David Villa Opportunity Back End of April

Sentenced to six-month absence following a broken shin injury when competing in the Club World Cup in December, David Villa likely diving comeback sooner.

As stated Victor Onate, general director VOS Marketing, the agency that represents the player, Barcelona striker is likely to be able to re-sod the end of April.

"That will depend on the recovery, but I think at the end of April we will see him play again," said Onate told Canal 9.

"David is great. Although people may feel strange, but he worked harder than ever, even compared to when he could still play."

"He's very focused on trying to get back as quickly as possible," added Onate.

Before the injury, the former Valencia spearhead appeared 24 times for Barca with a contribution of nine goals in all competitions this season.
